Basic cuisine course 

 

Surprising at the table has never been easier!

 

Starting from the basics of cooking, the aim of this course is to provide participants with the basics of cooking and techniques to prepare menus with a rich taste without sacrificing simplicity, with timeless recipes but also creative and current dishes.

The students learn to recognize ingredients, combinations and presentations to enjoy all the dishes.

 

During the lessons, ICOOK chefs provide participants with the fundamental tools to learn how to recognize quality products, choose the most suitable methods for storing food, manage the refrigerator and organize the pantry. At the same time the basic cooking practices are explained: during the demonstrations, in turn, the participants are called to interact and test themselves by delighting their palates with what is processed.

 

The real focus of the course is, of course, the dishes prepared. In this cycle of basic lessons we start with the appetizers and then move on to egg pasta: the ICOOK staff puts their experience at the disposal of the students by following them step by step in the preparation of homemade pasta.

Sauces and sauces are the next step: from mayonnaise to tartar sauce, from pink sauce to sauces for first courses.

 

There is also a lesson on white meat (chicken, rabbit and poultry) and one on red meat (beef, veal and lamb). Particularly awaited by the students is the evening dedicated to fish, where you learn how to treat fish, molluscs and shellfish.

 

After the first and second courses it is the turn of the contours, with the deepening of the seasonality of vegetables and how to make them tasty. Finally, wide desserts, with pastry made with chocolate, cream and shortcrust pastry.

The course will take place at our headquarters in Via Leopoldo Lucchi 285 - 47521 Cesena (FC). The practical cooking courses are held with at least 18 participants and a maximum of 24. All preparations are tasted by the students

 

*ICook informs the students that in order to contribute to the decrease of the consumption of disposable materials the plastic or aluminium food containers will no longer be distributed. Therefore, all participants in cooking activities are invited to bring their own containers to take home the leftover preparations.

How do I sign up?Do I pay the same night? No, to find the course well prepared, with the ingredients weighed and everything you need, ICook must know exactly the number of participants in time. Payment must then be made within 5 days of registration, by bank transfer, paypal, or cash, ATM or credit card directly in our office, in Via Leopoldo Lucchi 285, from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00, or by appointment at 05471938084.

 

Should I bring something?
ICook provides everything you need to reproduce the recipes proposed by the chef: equipment, raw materials, water, pen, notepad, cookbook, apron (complimentary to each participant)

Remember to bring the mask and food containers to take home the prepared

 

* In order to enforce the safety measures provided by the authorities and to guarantee the best possible learning experience, our school has chosen to interpret the provisions in the most restrictive sense and in particular:

The space available between people will be greater than the allowed meter;

The room will have been sanitized, following the guidelines of the Higher Institute of Health and adequately ventilated;

The procedures of the courses, from the reception to its execution, have been revised to eliminate all the customs that can endanger the health of people

Sanitizing dispensers will be available for course participants
